Hi,  hopefully this site will familiarize you with the services we offer, from game birds on our 1200 acre year round licensed shooting preserve, hand carved decoys to working retrievers.

Use the links on the left to travel around the various sites. I have heard that at any given time there are thousands of people in North America training a retriever so a substantial portion of this site is dedicated to various aspects of training your dog for hunting.

Winters can be long in Canada so we spend a great deal of time carving & painting hand carved decoys and wildlife sculptures when the water is too hard for training dogs or hunting on the ranch. Take a look at the pictures of the more recent carvings, something from the "work in progress" list or custom order your wildlife sculpture by species and pose. Each one is hand crafted and a unique one of a kind original.

Our Mission

We endeavor to provide a safe enjoyable pheasant, chukar or turkey hunting or dog training experience in a controlled environment only 15 minutes east of  Calgary city limits. Conveniently located on Side Road #797 (paved) just south of the Trans Canada Highway #1, and only 20-25 minutes from the Calgary International Airport, the ranch is nestled between two major Ducks Unlimited Projects (Taylor Marsh & Weed Lake) so we see some incredible flights of both ducks and geese and some fabulous fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout is available only 20 minutes away on the world famous Bow River.
